Tamora aircon given up the ghost!

Has anyone elses aircon given up working in this hot weather? When it is switched on there is a continuous loud clicking noise. Noise, but no cold air. Not good in this weather!

Is this terminal, or does it just need re-gassing?

I have a dealer warranty. Has anyone claimed for this type of repair on a warranty?

I had exactly the same clicking noise when mine went. The compressor had gone. I claimed for it sucessfully on an aftermarket warranty. I had to pay for the re-gas though, about £25.
