I saw them at the Motor Show and I thought they looked good (new seats are an improvement too) but not worth £61k compared to present price. I would suggest that if you want a Sag you get an old style one soon!
£61k!!!!
Why has the price gone up so drastically? What do the new seats look like?
the new seats are comfy - made by Sparco I think, more substabantial and 'huggy' than the old ones. Sarah sat in them today at the show and is already trying to get her hands on some - should be available later in the year.
The new lift up proper bonnet is a very welcome change, but keeps the styling - shame its a whole new front half of the car to retro-fit
...not keen on the boring rear exit exhausts though......the side exit ones always look very distinctive.

Regards to new seats, anyone notice if they are rubbing on the roll over bars?
I didn't look too closely, but I did move the seat back and forward and didn't notice it catching. I agree thet they are more "huggy" but I don't think they look quite as good.
Bonnet is a definate improvement, as is the larger screen wash bottle.
I´ve heard two stories, A. the exhausts are a choice and B. they are now only rear exits not side. can anyone confirm their still side exit options for the next few months/weeks on uk spec?
plus must you now only order the 07 cars which are, it seems 10,000 dearer. Any why on earth that much??

I quite liked the new exhaust arrangement. Not as quirky but still looked good, and apparently they are going to have a steel mesh around them to tidy it up a bit.
As for the seats, I thought that looked and felt better than the previous ones (both originals and the latest ones). Certainly looked in keeping.
BUT, the new seats didn't seem to fit very well. When the seat was back they rubbed all over the roll bars, so you basically couldn't have the seat right back. One would think that TVR would have sourced a seat that actually fitted into the car!!
And they seemed a little higher. I can fit in the existing Sagaris OK but could not get comfortable with the new seats in situ as it felt like there was much less room. Anyone else experience this?
New wheels looked cool though, but didn't ask for the price of these.

Why has the price gone up so drastically? As I said on another thread, the new price for the 2007 specification is not £61,000, it's £58,750. This includes the new 18" alloys, revised bonnet, some improved interior trim materials, optional rear exiting exhausts, full leather Sparco sports seats and other quality and component enhancements, as well as air conditioning - previously a £1,762.50 option that's now standard.
Alternatively, you could buy a current dealer stock car at the old prices, making the few that are still available absolute bargains.
A bit more detail here: www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=291065&f=13&h=0&p=2 if you're interested.
For further information, I suggest you speak to your dealer.
