Just thought I would start a new thread since the gossip at the moment is of the cessation of Tamora / T350 production. Pre launch press blarb for the 350 stated a production run limited to 500 cars. Can't be far off? Ex TVR designers/ engineers involved in the Marcos which apart from the typical Marcos arse end looks like a T350. Although there is a V8 under the lid. Am I missing something here? IMHO the T350 is the everyday coupe and the Tamora the every day convertible. A V8 in both and an aesthetic improvement to trim ( check out the blue x stitch in a Marcos) is the muscle requirement with a Cosworth V6 for everyday Joe to potter to the shops. When you start getting into the region of £54000 for a new car there is a lot to choose from, which is why I believe TVR still need something at entry level post £30000 and sub £42000. Otherwise the majority will be subject to second hand cars.If we cant afford a new one, there are reduced numbers of buyers then we are not going to have many second hand cars to choose from after a while. A current £12000 hit as soon as it has left the showroom is a lot to take- but there again you could keep it forever!

I like much about the new Marcos. However, the interior space and dashboard are not to my liking. Since that is what I see/feel when I'm driving its a major component in my decision making. Exterior/handling/performance appear A1 (from reports I've read - not driven one). V8 engine too

Also £50k is a bit steep. T350 is (was) 40k.

Agree Targarama it is a bit on the slim side, but tested well against the Sag in its first press outing. Something with the Sags wheel base T350 lines, bmw /Ford/ Audi V8 and a classy interior would do me fine.
