Sagaris questions

The problems, and for the majority if that is what you can call them, have been minor and easily sorted.
With the 3 year warranty in place on all Sagaris' I would echo the above, most niggles and issues would/should have been sorted by the owners at the first service. If I were buying second hand I would perhaps look for one that's just done the 6,000 mile service so any issues that have popped up between the 1k and 6k services are sorted plus the engine would be fully run in and now running on the fully synthetic stuff. Might also be worth checking if the owner knows the correct running in procedure and how they warm the car up. Chances are if they know the correct procedure then they have followed it. Just my opinion

Personally Id say the engine doesnt free up till *after* the 6k service...between then and 12k...then it really starts to come alive.
Issues? Check the seals on the doors, misaligned seals create lots of wind noise at speed.
Check rear 1/4 panel windows bonding.
Kerbed alloys? Personally I dont really care about them, so long as the car has all 4 pointing in the right direction. Go for a ride in one, you will soon tell if they arent!
Air con...make sure it works.
Front splitter...check if it is cracked. Ignore scrapings, they are all scraped and it is only the plastic armourfend/paintshield stuff anyway. Cracked is different!
Tyres. Check the wear levels and pressures.

So what is the correct diff then ?????
TVR Moses with a 1.0 nova
TVR Moses with a 1.0 nova
Cars without a CR box have 3.46.
Cars with a CR have 3.73.
Some cars with CR had a 3.46 diff which is awful. Both will feel crisper with a 3.73, but without a CR box and the shorter diff, first is almost useless.

I know Im in the minority here but 1st *should* be almost useless. I know the CR boys all say "ahh but, 1st is now a proper short gear", but as far as Im concerned, 1st gear should never be used on the road except in the first 50yrds or so from a standing start.

At least I have a TVR
and it has the "correct diff"
How can there be a "correct" diff, you mean with the ratio that you personally prefer?
Sagaris 1 nova 0

I think that was my point - just because he doesn't have one doesn't mean he can't answer the question.
We're all pretty fortunate to be able to run TVR's (even if it's a shed, like mine) and it's great to see TVR enthusiasts, whether they have the money to buy one or not. As you say, there isn't a correct diff - however it seems to be acknowledged that the earlier Saggies felt a little sluggish because of their gearing. I drove Silverstone TVR's red one (which I believe had the 'wrong' diff) and their Tuscan S demo felt far more spritely out of bends because of it's diff.
It is well known that the factory ran out of Tuscan S diffs (3.73) just as the Sagaris was launched. So dealer demonstrators/press cars had the correct diff, but the first customer cars leaving the factory had Tamora diffs fitted as thats all they had or could get. (i was told by an x dealer)
Some owners have replaced the tamora diff with the one intended a 3.73 tiscan s).
Evo tested a Sagaris which happened to be a customers car and Criticised it for being down on power compared to the press car they had driven earlier, Why? I bet the customers car had the tamora diff in it....
Whats this nova scoring thing?

Not quite, there is more to the "down on power story" not connected with the diffs.
