Built by plate on the engine.

I have a little plate on my engine; 'built by S Jackson' but other TVRs that I have looked at do not have it. Is/was this common, does it make mine extra special ?

Both of my 2002 engines had "built by..." plates. I think the factory has stopped doing them now, but it's a nice little touch that I think should continue. Perhaps we should all go and check our engines and post on here who built their engine and see who builds the most/best/worst?

(I can't look at mine 'cos it's away being serviced)
