Checked fuse - blown. Replaced fuse - blew again. Twice. Same again after disconnecting wiper motor.

Booked into RG TVR, as they say it sounds like a wiring problem, but any suggestions here to save me a trip and a couple of days without the Tam?

Ahhhhh. Looks like it's off to the dealers for me, if I want anything near a sensible reply..... Or am I being optimistic?

DO NOOOT GO IN THERE!

Seriously though, the problem might be in the wiring on the steering column - when you click the wipers on a wire may have rubbed through and be shorting out. Does everything else work? (if more than one thing I'm thinking possibly an earth problem).

Yeah I like that one too!

I'm hoping it's just the rubbed wiring thing. However, the boot light has packed up too. Bulb looks OK but I'll get another and replace it later anyway. Not on the same fuse as the wipers (allegedly....) so who knows...?

My front nearside indicator bulb blew - so I thought - but it turned out to be faulty wiring that just needed cleaning up. David Hendry cleaned up the wiring and the problem is solved

May my problem be so easily solved. And hopefully quickly too....
