So I got my car back yesterday after its clutch/gearbox non-problem (I still find it hard to believe all that oil came form the air filter). Done 100 miles since and its not blown up yet. Linkage adjusted so gearchange is better. Now it know I'm thinking of selling and it keeps looking at me with that "don't shoot me Mr" look that seals give hunters. Bloody car.

Need to get some miles on it and the nose resprayed and I'll think about whether I'm going to keep it.

This problem is made worse by the fact that I can't really think what to replace it with for sensible money. An M3 CSL is an option but would cost me £10k. An M5 appeals but its a 4 door saloon. The girlfriend will be changing her TT for a new Golf GTi soon so thats the daily clunker/shopping car sorted moving forward.

Decisions decisions.

Think Sagaris, and see if you can then really really put your heart into buying any of the alternatives.

They certainly are cheap second hand! I couldn't live with the looks though - personal taste (although it certainly is impressive). The T350 is the best looking modern car on the planet.

Everybody thinks like this when they've had a run in with a dodgy TVR - just go out and drive, and once you've had a few trouble-free weeks, the anxiety of the last couple of weeks will be forgotten, and you will realise that you have a bargain supercar, which means it will be more fragile than a BMW or any other Eurobox derived fast car - but where's the excitement in fast motorway cruising? Go and drive your favourite local road, get some high-speed bends under your belt, then stop grinning and be serious!

But I don't fit in a VX220 (comfortably enough for my liking).

That'll be why I'm driving one Targarama! The bees knees IMHO.
