Hello, i dont know what happened, i woke up this morning and all i can think about is a Sagaris. i really want one now. i have never driven one but 3 years ago tested the T350 and loved it but not enough to buy. i have had the 2 Exiges and been very very happy with them. now pootling around in a 911 which i will always love but this morning i have this unquenchable desire for a Sagaris.
Tell me i am mad or tell me it will be worth it then tell me where to trade the 911 for one.....
All the best
one obsessed PHer.

Plan for today.
Contact local dealer.
Arrange for test drive.
Plan for Tomorrow.
Go to dealer.
Do test drive.
Decide on colour.
Buy.

Simple!!

On second Sagaris now, first unfortunately written off, not by me but by mate driving to Le Mans. Had done knocking on 20K in the car, daily driver, trips up and down UK, Ireland, Nurburgring, etc etc. Still mad about the car, replacement brilliant too.

Thank you, funny, i have already been to the dealer this morning. Its raining so i didnt really want to take the car out, not that i mind driving in the wet but i wanted to see what the car is like foot to the floor etc.
I saw the thread on your first Sagaris, real shame but good no one was injured and the car was replaced. I like to hear you have so many miles on the car. a car is for driving not leaving in the garage.
Thanks for the plan, now to stick to it.

I actually love and hate that feeling when car obsession takes hold and I know it well. I promised myself never to buy another new car again. Then I saw the Sagaris prototype and my good intentions were toast. It was the strongest desire to get a car since I saw my first F40.

Fortunately the car has been inspirational and mechanically sound despite it's fair share of the inevitable 'niggles'. It's never failed to get me to where I wanted to go (and that includes much of Europe) and it never fails to induce a big fat grin.

It's also staggeringly cool to look at, which I do, a lot. Mind you so is the Exige which is probably what I'd be driving if I couldn't have a modern TVR for some reason.

Thanks mrs triple s, thats some good advice

The Pits, i saw your car on your profile and was inspired. the car does look the business in any surrounding.

I have my eye on this one http://pistonheads.com/sales/86398.ht
I dont think i would buy new as i am very bad at making my mind up on colours etc. i like to just be given a few to choose from and go with it. never wander if i made the right decision or not.
Just need to move my 911 on now and thats it. i will be in a TVR again.
Didnt get on with my Chimaera but i think they have changed a great deal since then.

that is one wild car tc!

it's safe to say you will get noticed in that! the difference in attention after the 911 will be considerable, it is in my car even with it's stealth paint!

Wise move, hold onto your money... you don't want 2 sports cars hanging around in your driveway unless you really can afford it!

What is the spec of your 911? I might be able to find a buyer. PM me the details and I will let you know what I can get for it.

Weather permitting i will road test the dealer sagaris tomorrow.
Has anyone here had an exige and a sagaris? I just wanted an insite into whether they are simular in anyway.
I like the real race car feel of the lotus you see. dont want the TVR to feel too much like a 'car'. my chimaera had a gear change and steering that resembled a 1940 t25 ferguson we used to have. I hope the Sag has moved forward in this respect.

I think you will be surprised and delighted.
Don't know what the dealer car is, but bear in mind that some of the '06 cars are a little softer than the early '05 ones.
