Work have just dropped the biggest bomb shell on me. I have been asked (or 'told might be a better way of putting it!) that I am to relocate to Australia for work for a minimum of 18 months in the next 2 months. I bought my T350c only 10 weeks ago and it now looks like I am going to have to sell it. I am GUTTED!!! I've just looked into importing it but I can not justify the cost - over $50,000 Aus dollars by the looks of it and that doesn't incorporate the hassle aswell. So, unless I want it hanging around in my garage it looks like its going to have to go.
The car has 11 months full renewable warranty remaining and is in perfect condition. 03 plate, Full leather, AC.. and has done 15k (picture on profile). What do you guys think I'll get back for it.
Any recommendations on what I should put her up for sale for? Forum user SpeedYellow can testify as to how 'good a condition' this T350 is.
Thanks for your help - a very p1ssed off J.

Hum - dam it... any idea on re-sale price?
21k if you can find a buyer. Good Luck..
I tested the water last month (No intention of selling) just curious to know the selling prices.
I wont break your heart and tell you what i was offered
And mine has had bundles spent on it..?
Id rather keep it in my garage for 18 months than sell it for 21k.
Seriously.. there would be not point. In-fact, if it was worth 20k I'd just keep it forever... it's that good!
totally pointless selling it for any less - ever. Imagine trying to replace such a car for that amount of money...
................ if TVR was made in Germany ownership would be an entirely different ballgame! I'm proud and love to own a British sport car, but, statistics don't lie.
fcuk it, i might just import it.

That is probably the wisest financial decision you could make. Dont sell it for a song there are a lot of vultures waiting for people who need to sell and offer you pittance.
Why not keep it in the garage. There are things you can do to store the car. Put gas in the tyres and not air. This stops the tyre inner walls from corroding. Is there someone who can check over your house and car regularly. They can start the car up occassionally, and take it for its service when required.
You don't have to sell.
You don't have to sell.
No point hanging on to it and having it sitting in a garage for 18 months, in that time a lot of things can happen in your life and it may not be of use to you when you return, it would of depreciated a load and you would have got nowhere near what you might get now, no point transporting it to OZ for that cost if you are returning in 18months as you can by some Aussie brute more suited to the poor roads and distances you might travel. You may as well sell it.
Of course I have a vested interest as I am one of those vultures just hanging around for a keenly priced T350
though it'd have to be a good price as I am waiting feedback on one I have seen recently.

A 'good' price would be 25k, retail 27 , TVR dealer 28 I would of thought.
So...... 23k sounds like a bargain to me considering it's got 11 months warranty remaining (And I paid allot more than that 10 weeks ago!) The only thing is I really don't want to sell it now, but id rather sell it now than have loads of hassle at the last minute.
Anyway... if it's still with me in 2 months I will go the cocoon route.
Just looking, the only other car on the web with warranty / private sale on my plate / miles is 27k.

I was going to say.... even though I've got a Sagaris in an identical colour scheme, I'd have to think seriously about it at £23k!!! Surely an appreciating classic?!
