Oh dear

Was just about to set off home and I think the power steerings gone.... my god is that car heavy without it. Called the AA just to be sure.

AA guy checked all the fuses in the drivers footwell but all were fine. strangely the diagram in the handbook did not identify a fuse for the power steering!!

Sorry to hear of your probs - did AA check the grey power steering relay, which is on nearside front of engine?

When this happened to me the power stearing pump itself had failed. A citroen part it transpires....

The fuse for the PAS is NOT in the driver's footwell but by the battery.

Just called TVR to let them know the car will be with them this morning and they said exactly the same thing... mind you we couldn;t even find the battery last night!!!!!!

Just it's the huge fuse which is pretty much sat on the battery. AA found mine...when looking for the alternator fuse

I had exactly the same thing as few month ago. The power steering motor was knackered and had fallen off. I couldn't believe how heavy it was either. It wasn't cheap to replace
