Finding one with display-problems may be difficult so if I were you I'd buy one with a working display and then introduce some problems yourself.

dont think they are hard - its generally swap for a new unit...however getting one out of TVR is difficult...they seem to be on permanent back order.

On our old Tuscan we waited 4 months, then finally part-exd the car without it done

the Sagaris now has some odd quirks/dodgy pixels showing etc and will be replaced under warranty ...one month waiting so far and expect another few

There are several breakers who regularly get TVRs in after the owners exceeded their talent quota or hit some diesel rolleyes I'm sure one of these will either have or soon have one in stock. The other thing is to remove the display and have it repaired by the factory - might take a few days, might take a few weeks.
