I assume you've found a set that fit well, I'm thinking of something similar to save modifying originals ... so which Cobra seat model Mark?

Yes i have done my home work paul and the Cobra Imola fit very nicely indeed, plus they only weigh 5 kilos per seat. I have over come the fixing points for the harness by adding another cross member that fits to the existing seat belt bolts on the roll bar ( Like whats been done in the lotus exige),

Interested. After our conversation I think I will go ahead and modify the current Sagaris seats for 4 point - don't want to take them out as they look good as they are with the painted backs.

As said any offers

Black and portland seats with stardust painted seat backs

If anybody is thinking of changing the seats for whatever reason think twice. Its been a nightmare what with no room due to the transmission tunnel and the roll cage, i can see why the originals are slightly leaning in. Over the moon with the new seats they hold you in rock solid..

Those new seats look very nice indeed.

I took the subframes off my TVR seats and removed the spacers to level the seats out. I didn't have any trouble getting the seats out, but can imagine the problems fitting harness bottom mounts - I did this on my old Chimaera - tight fit down there. Leveling the std seats makes a big difference, you don't drive along leaning on the centre console.

How far can you now slide the seats back without fouling the roll cage Targarama?

I too took the spacers and washer from under the seat runner and seat base on my T350t. Much better. Seats go right back. Had to adjust the padding on the passengers side roll bar though, it was hanging down anyway.

Well done Mark for persisting in finding seats that would fit ok AND hold snugly. They don't look too bad either

Not totally convinced about security of the bar for the 4-point though; looks like flattened tube just held through hole by bolts, and if the unthinkable happens, cages tend to bend a bit ...?
I do appreciate there are no useful chassis points just below boot floor though, that would have been ideal.

May follow similar route next year, along with further track-biased mods, but also looking at a trimmed insert for existing seat to make closer-fitting 'wings' around torso to give same effect. There's a very good auto-upholster nearby. I'll post details if I pursue it.

All the way (I'm 6 foot 5). It touches the padding further back, but if you look you'll see it gives easily.
