When I switch my fan on and turn the knob round to max nothing happens for a few secs and then all the lights come on and I get a fault code 136 heater flap. Anyone had this be before and how do I cure it ?
The few seconds delay is normal. The error isn't (some might say it is ). Sounds like a problem with either the electically powered flaps themselves or the ECU controlling them.
Happened twice in 3 years to mine, so just had my heater/fan/aircon ecu box replaced - common fault on T350's unfortunately, Automedon advise. Not expensive though.
