DearAll,
does anyone have a service schedule for the T350 12K service? (must be a schedule which is defined by TVR themselves)
I think we are generally quoted £1000 for this, so I'd like to know what it entails.
Apparently it's 10.5 hrs work, so it would be interesting to know how this breaks down into time on each task and then parts costs as well.
Thoughts/comments welcome.

Check TVR powers website. They have service scheduled on there.

Hi there everyone, a 12k service breaks down into 7 hours labour to carry out correctly. The valve clearance check and adjust is an additional 4 hours but this is the maximum time that it would take to check and adjust all 24 valves. (In our experience we have never had to adjust all 24!!). Using our current labour rate we charge £752.89 exc VAT but including all parts/lubricants etc for the service. The maximum that the valve clearance check should cost (Again at our labour rate) is £366.60. A realistic figure for the full lot is in the region of £1k exc. I hope that this helps. Best regards,Tony

12k includes changing all oils and fluids such as coolant, brake/clutch, rear diff, gearbox.

Is there really such a thing as a Speed Six that doesn't need its tappets resetting after 12k miles? (OK, maybe some people only do 3-4,000 miles in 24 months when the 12k service is due, but they should be taken outside and beaten for not using the car enough ).

lol!

Well mine is in at the moment for a service - turns out it's not the 12k service but the 6k one so not so hard on the wallet. My car was owned by Blackpool previously and its service book is a little odd - first inspection as per usual at 1k and then the 6k service at 2500 miles and then the 12k service at 2550 miles (?!). Haven't looked at the time periods between them but I guess it must have been sat around for a while between the 2 services not being used and they probably thought it wise to do a 12k service before punting on to a dealer

Thanks

Have just picked the car up from Gatwick. Bill was a quite reasonable £680 so I'm quite happy
