it did it after I bought my Tamora and I have put the pipe back on the washer pump 3 timrs, filled up (what a pita of a job) and a few days later no washer water and pipe off.

I suspect the pipe-pixies, but it's really beginning to bug me. I like being able to wash my screen!!

They all do that sir. Not fully pushed in during manufacture. Cut 10mm off the end of the tube using a stanley knife and push fully home.

Ever heard of jubilee clips and cable ties? If it comes off, it will do it again. (No I don't think the factory have BTW.)

No they don't. Mine haven't done it in the 13 months I've owned the car.

Thats the way to go no need for cable ties or jubilee clips either. Its an engineering thing tried and tested

Neither has mine since new, but I can still see its not exactly on tight in standard form.

Same happened on the Sagaris - first just in front of the reservoir, second halfway along the Driver side of the engine. Pain.

My T350 suffered with this problem. Eventually tracked down to one of the zip ties used to secure the tibe to the bulkhead had been pulled too tight and collapsed the tube. The Zip tie was hidden below the airbox.

thanks, I'll look for any obstructions. I did wonder if it might be being "blown off" (so to spk!). When I do wash the windscreen not much comes out. In fact, I have only managed one wash on each "putting back on". That must be it!!

if it's the small 1/4" dia clear tube you mean then try a bit of fuse wire twisted round with some pliers, you'll get a better grip on it than with a zippie tie. Rich...

No disrespect but if it happened 3 times and the coin did'nt drop on how to fix a simple thing like a 8mm hose falling off you obviously have no common sense and should not be on the road in a car with 350 horses under your right foot, but hey what do i know.

Edited to say how many people thought that but did'nt write it ?

My thoughts didn't include such strong words. I did think "what a plonker, why doesn't he just fix it?" though.

Nice one, but as you say, what do you know? No disrespect, but clearly not much.
