Whurring noise when i turn the steering wheel.

When i turn the steering wheel (can be just a little or full lock) their is a blowing noise and sometime a squeak. Anyone come across this before. Steering feels fine and its not very loud but does sound like its coming from steering column.

I was thinking it could be the belt needs a spray of WD40 but not sure where it is... or how to get to it ??

Have you checked the power steering fluid,its on the drivers side nexted to wheel arch. It must show beteen min/max on the filler neck???

Sounds like a PAS issue. Most likely low fluid, as suggested.
