OK, I know that it sounds like a film starring Tom Cruise!

I've just been told, unofficially I guess, that mine was the last Tamora to leave the factory.

Obviously I'm pleased that I have something which is unique, but what do any of you guys think about a possible impact on re-sale value? I personally don't think it will make diddly squat difference, but I'm just curious.

Of course I'll probably never be able to afford another new Tiv with the price hikes, so re-sale is purely theoretical. It's much more likely to be a case of keeping it forever and spending a fortune over a looonnnng period of time keeping it running rather than one big hit to get a new one.

I think the Tam will hold its value well if you keep it in good nick and properly serviced.

Yes. I suppose it's just a minor bit of TVR history.

It will be properly service, and loved. But it will be high mileage so I doubt there will be any financial benefit.

It's still nice to know, though.

Does anybody know how many they have made from start to finish as it would be quite interesting to try and work out what they will be worth in a few years time.

supply and demand and all that

Crikey - Hardly worth making the moulds from a finacial point of view! - Very Glad they did though.thumbup

When you think the first ones were out on a Y reg - I just though a rough calculation 400 divided by 5 years = 80 Tamoras on average a year - then I thought how many a month and got 6.66 evil

- Devils work I think - Must do some work now!

Great car I wonder if we could get exact figures off someone before internet history takes over! - Is there a source at DVLA?

Devils work! Good!

I don't have a source, but I'm off to the local office to get the new plates registered on it, so I'll ask if there is any way that they'd release that information. Maybe they will, if there's some semi official backing, from the Factory or the TVRCC.

Was speaking to The Factory yesterday and they still have a number of Tamoras being finished off and then for sale. Plus they said they'd still build a car to the customer's spec if required, although as this would be a "special build", they'd want a £5k premium for doing so.

It may be the last tamora now, but are you sure it will be the last tamora?

I've lost count at the number of last Cerberas that have been sold.

Just been told by the DVLA that one can write to the SMMTA who should have the details of all registered models of cars.

I think I might have seen "The Last Tamora" on the Walworth Road this morning about 8.20ish.

You probably didn't see me - I was on the number 40 bus paperbag

There are still 3 unregistred Tamora's at Racing Green and Cicerly, surely these will be the last registerd and maybe also the last made.

Dunno. Can only tell you what the factory told me. And I think that the ones at Racing Green were there before I bought mine - not the right spec to get the buy in of my wife ;-)

Well, I might have seen the bus... Yep, was probably me as I was on the way to the Oval from my dear old Mum's in Deptford.
