No, happy with the current cans.
Only change I would make to the rear of the 'Gris is to have the original "fold" on the rear valence put back on. Looked a lot meatier than the flat arse version on the production car.

Do the Carbon Cans that you can get for the Tuscan fit straight on to the Sagaris. Want more sound and the Blue flame ones are quite a bit more expensive.

won't make much difference to the sound, the saggy has a centre box with the sound deadening material in.

Tuscan cans should fit on the Sag no problem. I've got a set of quiet CCC cans that I had on my Tuscan for track days. Use them on the Sag for the same.

Hi Tivva.

Just ordered some CCCans for the Sag. Do they make a lot more noise or does the central silencer keep them tamed down as per the post above. I sincerely hope they are as loud as they were on the Tuscan i had previously.

ive heard that the tuscan cans will make the sag sound just as good but with a bit more base, sounds good to me!
ive seen the silver coloured prototype sagaris on a few websites, that had tuscan cans on,and the rounded rear valance must admit i do think the rear valance looks the part,i have read somewhere though that the valance was dropped as it caused a bit of drag, was this the case?.

Hi cdd,

Yep CCC cans do pop and bang nicely. The noise bounces off walls and tunnels lovely.

With my Tuscan, it seemed to get louder and pop and bang more as the miles went on. Probably the CAT disintergrating !

The Sag isnt quite upto the noise level of my Tuscan, but its getting there.

And the other quie set that the CCC guys made for me are great on track days, much quieter. But there no good for the road !!!

Cheers Garry

Hi,

I have recently had the cans off my sag, and noted that they are sleeved right along the full length inside, therefore it would seem logical to assume that no other style would be able to be louder. I bought the car new, and know for sure that these are the standard cans. It may be prudent to save your dosh for something different that will be sure to give you more noise and possibly a bit more go to boot. Have a look at the de-cat thread.

P.S. Shine a torch down the can whilst still on the car and you will see what you have got.

Just had a set of CCC Cans fitted to the Sag. Not as loud as i probably would have liked although they are louder and do pop and bang a bit more than the standard cans. Only just got the car back and it's raining so i haven't given them a full test drive yet but i will report back once tested.

A little disapointed in one way as they are not as ear blistering as they were on my Tuscan but happy in another way that they will certainly be more comfortable on longer journeys.

May be back soon for some more info on how to get more noise but will wait until after the test run home.

What exactly is involved in the De Cat. Do i need to buy any bridgeing pipe to replace where the Cats were removed from?

If so does anyone know where i can get the bridging pipe?
