Can you help? I have a 12mth old Tam, with the 18' spiders fitted. Car has just had a service, and whilst cleaning it this morning, the rear brake calipers look odd. I have a TVR badged cover over the front calipers, but I am sure the rears used to have the same, but now there is nothing, but the metal caliper. I think they have been taken off during the service, but I need to confirm if the rears do normally have a cover over them. None of my piccys of the car can confirm. Can someone please pop outside and have a look at their pride and joy and set my mind at rest? Thanks.

my rears do not have "tvr" on them - only front's have tvr - interesting that you say the front are a cover - mine are like recessed into the calipers - definatly not a cover.

ok, thanks. So the rears are just metal, not painted black? Fronts may will be just painted black, just assumed it was a cover.

Thanks Fly Boy. Thought I was going mad. Just seemed like it was easier to get my hand behind the caliper to clear the inside rim of the wheel... Anyway, mind at rest. Thanks.

'Tis true. Cleaning the inside of the rears is easy, the fronts take the skin off the back of your hand/knuckles every time.

I use a mitten, which does help with the knuckle scrapes...
