RAC - Can they fix it?

Accelerator cable has gone on my Tamora. Just called RAC, whats the chances they can fix it? Anyone had any experience? If not, off on a lorry it goes I guess.

Dont bother replying... he has been and gone already (very good service, was here within 15 mins!) and no he couldnt fix it, cable was too fraid... back of a lorry it will be.

Sorry to hear this. Where abouts along the length of the cable was it frayed?

Should be an easy fix at a dealers.

Apparently it was at the pedal end. RAC man said that if he could get underneath the car, he could have loosened some slack and put on a temporary nipple (ohh err) on the end, to at least get me to the dealer... So hopefully dealer can do that... Its covered under warranty anyway!

Must say great service from RAC... called them at about 9.15 and car left about 5 mins ago on the back of the lorry!
