My 04 350 had a defective fan which was fixed before I picked it up - it might be worth checking both fans are coming on - I have had my 350 in stop/start traffic on a warm day and the engine water temp was perfect throughout.

Cheers

Door - each door has it's own ecu controlling it, which may be confused - often cured by disconnecting for 30sec. Try passenger door or failing that hatchback (if feeling athletic) then you can use the cable-operated emergency door release on right hand side of footwell.

If even the hatch stays locked, v.likely it's the alarm/immobiliser ecu on left of passenger footwell, there is a secret way in if all else fails - but sorry, don't know it scratchchin

Justyn,
sounds like your fan ain't cutting in.
Once the engine gets hot and the sensor starts getting cooked it can give the ECU an out of range value and then the ECU reports a sensor fault.
There are in fact two sensors - one at the front only for the display, and one at the back of the block for the ECU input. Normal faults lie with the sensors themselves or the connectors between them and the ECU.
The door system is fiendish, with separate control boxes for each door and door switches feeding into the dash ECU. As a previous person said once you crawl into the car via the hatchback you can pull the reg toggles in the footwell to open the doors manually.
Would get your dealer to check out the doors...

Thanks all for your help. But where would i find these ecu 's you guys are talking about. Unfortunatly i cant get into the car at all. The only entry level i have is the bonnet!!! If the ecus are inside the car im still stuffed. I cant beleive the battery is flat cause i have been driving it around for 2 weeks everyday no problem, and on Saturday used it 3 times to nip in and out then all of a sudden, dead!!!! No door entry!!!!! As im new to all this there maybe a secret button hidden outside or something i know nothing about to get into the car, i dont know. I would take it to my dealer but i cant ,cause i cant get in it. What a nightmare!!!

Great advise regards overheating, once i can get in the car i will see if both fans start up. Cheers all for your very kind help.

There is a jump socket near the battery if you want to try plugging another battery into it but you need the right connector.

Failing that try charging the battery up, its behind a cover behind the nearside front wheel, if you turn full left lock you can get to it without taking the wheel off.

Try checking the multi plug inside the door, the one that takes the loom to the door switch in the mirror housing. They get water in them and itlooses connection. If the doors work from inside, but not out this is what it will be. Faling that, it's the module in the footwell.

Hi all again

Now getting really pist with the T350. I am so hoping i have not made a mistake buying this car. I JUST CANT GET IN THE BLOODY THING !!!!!!

IS THERE ANYWAY ANYONE I CAN GET IN THE CAR, A SECRET SWITCH, A HIDDEN PANEL THATS REVEALS A BUTTON, PPPPPPPPLLLLLEEEEAAAASSSSEEEEE!!!!!!!!

I will brief you all again. I push the button on my fob, the indicators flash to tell me my alarm had armed. Push the button under the mirror and nothing. Not a bean!!!!! i push the fob again and it only disarmas the car. The battery cant be flat cause the alarm goes off loudly if the car is rocked.

Think of my postion. I now have a partner who just knew something like this WAS gonna happen b4 i bought a TVR and i look a complete prick now just 2 weeks into my venture with this car. I darent tell others. They will piss themselves.

Give it a bit to work through cyberspace. Don't know what address it went to until it is delivered.

Can't get onto my e mail until I get into work, but I'll resend it in the morning if it hasn't come through.
