Yeah! Come on. Get it out in the rain. I use mine every single day (almost) and its absolutely fine.

In terms of trickle chargers, I know my local dealer stocks them (Hexham HC) as does James Agger. I think Leven Technology do them too. Failing that maybe try eBay.

Cheers,
Paul.

Leven.

Or do a search for Accumate - one of the more popular brands.

Connect it to the car via the lighter socket - there is a special adpater you get with the charger. If you have a garage with power then you can just leave this permanently on.

Accumate seem to be the "Hoover" for trickle chargers if you need one, and Leven are well liked here.

But the Sp6 doesn't require the enormous cold cranking amps of the RV8 engines - mine has started first time after more than six weeks (last winter, when it got slippy). Do you actually have a problem or are you looking to garage her for the winter ?

As said above, they do work in the rain, too...

You can have mine for £25 plugs into cigarette lighter. It's a year old dont need it anymore as I've sold my car. It's an accumate charger.

NOTE; If ya use it in the rain then do the alarm ecu mod. 10 mins work. Couldnt get in thr doors for love or money. When i did i found alarm ecu full of water due to bulkhead leak. turned alarm ecu right way up with wiring facing down and no problems anymore. Tailside had exactly the same fault with his t350. mine was loaded with water. rubbish design but sorted now after self mod. Job done

Had one of these www.airflow-uk.com/battery-conditi for years. Always did the trick, but doesn't come with fag lighter adapter.
