After a wonderful time with the Sagaris I've decided to part company. If anyone's interested in genuinely mint Sagaris which was painstakingly run-in and warmed up thoroughly every time, pay the TVR Centre a visit. They bought the car from me.
Reason? I've just bought a Reflex Charcoal Tuscan S from them!
I'll never forget the Sagaris, it's that sort of car and it far exceeded my expecations. I'm sure I won't be able to see one on the road without wondering what I've done (their road presence is second to none - I've felt pangs of jealousy at seeing other people's, even when I had one myself!!) but it has convinced me that modern TVRs are by and large sorted and dependable. More than that utterly addictive and I'd have a job buying another brand for some time.
Why the Tuscan S? For me it's a jaw dropping if more classic design in its own right. The main thing came down to just wanting to take the roof off and that as stunning as the Sagaris was on the circuit (and I mean really stunning) it was still no match for my purpose built seven so there was too much overlap between the two cars.
Anyway I pick it up next month and I can't wait. Overall I think it's the better road car. I must be mad of course given the current news but if the warranty is honoured I'll have no regrets. In fact it looks like it's a collectors classic already. One of the last tuscans to be built at bristol avenue...

you're not far off peril!
I am a self confessed reflex charcoal fanatic.
Although I have always had a thing for tuscans too and as said, on balance I think it just pips the Sagaris as a road car. There's next to nothing in it though, but that's what I like about the Tuscan, it still offers most of what I loved about the Saggy plus the roof comes off which really nets out at more enjoyment when driving slowly. Which sadly, is most of the time in the real world.
