Fuse at bottom of passenger footwell

If I remove the carpet at the end of the passenger footwell there is a thick red cable with an inlune fuse connector in it srewed to the 'end panel'. It seems to me that this is a second fuse between the battery to alternator?! Certainly the cable looks too meaty to be for the PAS.

Anyone else got one of these.

Yes, we all have.

It's the internal electrics fuse I believe.

The PAS one is by the battery.
