There is a soft limiter but not adjustable without access to the mapping.
Over revs logged? No - I dont think so.....

Justyr - Only way to adjust the limiter would be a remap. I assume you're trying to bring the limiter downwards. Putting it higher would probably result in engine suicide if you use those extra revs a lot. Big revs kill engines.
Maybe you're referring to the 2 readings in the menus for max speed and max revs.
Try resetting these readings (press both buttons when on the relevant item). check them a few days later - you'll see something like 228mph and 7800rpm - the software is wrong. Dealers know this.
