So there I am pootling along in the dark, lights on obviously, & sometimes I hear a relay click over and my headlights dim slightly.
So something is taking a bit of juice, but I don't know what it could be as water temp is nowhere near the 90 mark so it can't be the fans (and it's colder these days anyway!).
Everything else is off, no a/c, no nuttin'.
Thoughts anyone? Anyone else get this?

I always thought this was the fans turning on/off. I can never hear a click when it happens and the lights just give a slight flicker, they don't stay dimmer on mine at least.

I get this all the time, don't know what causes it though! Always bothers me that the car in front might think i'm flashing at them or something!!

This is a standard TVR thing. My Tuscan did it and my Sagaris does it as well. You just get used to it.

Yes, as you suggest I'm sure it's intended, but any ideas as to the cause out of interest?
Am curious...

Mine does that too. A very brief drop in voltage, lights dim, lasts just a fraction of a second. It worries me that the alternator is playing up.

It's due to the first fan (off side) kicking in at 92 deg C. You should also be able to hear the relay.
