T350T £19995
Discussion
I was going to have alook at this car a few months ago when it was up for £22995....it is now £19995....why can they not sell it?...is the colour combo. Its not as if it has massive miles on the clock and they have said it will have an annual service before it is sold. They have had it for over 6 months, I recon, but at that price from a TVR dealer surely must be a good buy? Any thoughts.

Andy,
All of the TVR's at Peninsula have been masively reduced since Allan Williams left. For example they have a black Tuscan 2 that has been in stock since September 2005 when I collected our Tamora. In July the car was still for sale at £47K, Allan offered it me for £45K because that was what it owed him.
You will find that car now on sale for £38K ish.
There is also another Tuscan 2 which is in quite a sparkly blue. That car has been in stock since late 2004.
So I think you will find they are just trying to turn their stock.

More like they're wise in shifting the cars now - otherwise with the winter around the corner and the current TVR climate they'll be in stock next Easter. If I were a TVR dealer I'd be clearing my books of expensive newish stock right now. Sorry this might not be what people want to hear, but from a business perspective I suspect the Lotus line is probably much easier on the blood pressure for places like Peninsula.
Definitely a good time to buy - I'd try and make an offer on many dealer stock right now if I were buying.

Andy,
Got mine from Peninsula a couple of weeks ago and this car was being sold at the higher price so like you say their trying to move stock on. The picture does not do the interior justice as it looks much better in the flesh.
Very good price for a T have a look take it for a drive & see what deal could be done?

Thanks for the feed back.....I think you persuaded me to go and have a look tomorrow. It certainly seems good value as another car I was interested in was a 53 plate t350c at the TVR centre in Ice titanium with red leather, titanium wheels and 8k on the clock but at £24995 seems far too much.
Alot will depend on what they give me for my Exige and if there is no mark up in their car the ofer could be too low but we can but try.

Catherine, where has Allan gone? I tried ringing them a few months back, but all I got was a chap who was very cagey about his whereabouts!?!
Email me if it's sensitve.

Exactly!... it's not rocket science that one is it!

Andy, I presume you have bought the Chancelly Blue one that Peninsula have had in stock for over 2 years? If so, I best tell you that yours was a doner car for many of the failed parts on my T350T when I had it. They even took yours off sale because it had so many parts taken from it, e.g. seat runners, engine bits, wheels etc etc Keep a goood eye on your car and if anything seems 'wrong', get it back to them ASAP, becasue I am not convinved they would have replaced everything (there honestly was lots of stuff that was taken of it for my car!) due to TVR having a non existent parts dept!

That is stonking good value for a targa version with low miles. I have a similar interior in my T350 and I can assure you the picture does it no favours whatsoever.
IMO it does do it quite a lot of favours! It's camper than a row of tents..... so unless you like driving abotu in Barbies livingroom, i'd go look elsewhere!
OK going to see the car tomorrow so is there anything I need to know like factory upgrades, recalls etc that should have been done on a '03' car....or will the list be too long.
I take your point on the inside but the car is around 5k to 6k cheaper than most dealer cars to be honest and that amount is not to be sniffed at camp or not.....in fact David Hendry cars has one up in the same colour and reg for 27k.

Yep, and it's that price for a reason! TVR uncertainty and a disgusting colour combo! At the end of the day £20k is still £20k and if you buy that car you can pretty much gaurantee that you wont see most of it back!)! But if you are insistent of seeing it, have a look at the drivers roof panel, last time I saw it the corner had snapped off the rear.
To be honest, you should have a look through the classifieds, and then offer some of these sellers a silly price. It is my experience that T350's do NOT sell, and if it's been on the market for a while, people become desperate and willing to accept low offers.
Gassing Station | Tamora, T350 & Sagaris | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

which is a shame - still good price if you could live with the interior.
