picked up my new sagaris yesterday. I think it loooks absolutely fabulous. compared to my tuscan i personally think it feels a lot more solid.
Just a question though, on running it in today i noticed the water temp got up to 99 whilst in trafic, abut 85-89 while driving does this sound about right. oil temp got to about 75 while in tafic and was only 58 while driving. is that ok?

My 350 water temp normally runs between 85-90 at normall running, in town in the summer the hottest i have seen it is about 99ish.

The air is a lot cooler now, 99 may seem a little high but is not to much to worry about if there is little air flowing through the rads and motor with being in traffic.

Oil temp similar, mine varies around 60-70 then 70-80 in town.

All in my experience! don't think you have to much to worry about unless water temp shoots above 110 as second fan cuts in about 98.

You coming down to Ace Cafe in your new Sagaris!

I would love a sagaris!

Cheers Paul

Its not normal or what I would expect with current ambient temperatures close to zero. I would not expect the Sagaris to see much more than 90 today and 94-95 in the summer.

If it helps, I'm doing the same thing, and in traffic today, saw 88 deg C

my sag must be related to yours, exactly the same.if it makes you feel better just keep checking the water level on a regular basis like you did with your previous tiv.
enjoy the beast!

That sounds too high - I have somethink similar..

Could be the temp switch on the fans - check they both come on ..

Think 1 is 91degrees and no 2 is 96 degrees

and there could also be a loose earth lead.

If it's that new - get the dealer to check it out.

Same, steady at that, 90-93 in Aberdeen traffic, and lower on oil T this time of year.
Bring on the winter - SnowSag will be out and about!!

problem solved. took it to a very nice man at Westover garage(Westover used to be a main dealer in bournemouth). After searching around and checking everything he finally found that the second fan was not coming on because the relay for it was not there, he put one in and second fan works fine now. Now the temp stays at 88 while driving, goes up to 95 for 1 or 2 minutes while stopped in trafic then fans kick in and take it back down to 90. He did also say that the temp on the dash was reading about 3 deg hotter to the actual temp that he was getting on the diagnostic computer which is correct.

Glad you got your temp problem solved Craig, i would like to appologise in giving you inaccurate information.

Strange that two days later i had a similar problem!

On a positive note i made a delicous omelette for tea last night.
