Hi all,

Does the standard exhaust on the T350 meet this?

Thanks,

Paul

Yes. The standard exhaust is around 98db. I've not been to a track where it has failed yet.

Standard exhaust will eat this. Are you sure its not 2/3 of the revs - thats whats normal for testing.

Oulton Park is 105DB at 2/3 revs 1 meter away from the car at an angle of 45 degrees. I think that this is correct.

Yes, it is 3/4, I miss-read their web site:

"The noise limit for cars is 105dB(A), measured statically at 0.5metres and 45deg angle, at ¾ maximum rpm. In cases where the vehicle has two separated exhausts the measurement will be taken as above from the median point between the two.".

What do you mean eat? Is that as in below or above the limit? My std exh is well below, aftermarket 'sports' ones are probably really pushing their luck though.

Sorry Targ - comfortably below the limit.
