After having my car serviced, tappets adjusted, fuel was running lean so now sorted, throttle pots loose, new magnecor leads and iridium plugs and a tank of tesco 99 ron juice.

i decided to take my car back to the dastek rollers to see what it was saying, unfortunatly when my car went on, there seemed to be a problem with the software, as the car went up past 4000 revs the computer 'froze' twice, phoned manufacturer at dastek, they had reported other problems at other rolling roads, only with a tvr T350 also, earthing problems, so used jump leads to earth better, this time it gets to 5500 rpm before 'freezing' the software.

bearing in mind i had it on there about 2 months ago with no problem. anyone else experience this?

they decided to give up as time was getting on and will try again another day,

If anything that was learnt, he said that in comparison with the last time , at 5000rpm it was showing 286.7bhp at the wheels, up about 20 bhp , does this sound realistic? the old MAX figure was 343bhp @ 6500rpm.

shall i wait till it gets done properly to see proper results.

I thought the SP6 produced peak power at 7,200 rpm in which case 343 @ 6,500 rpm looks very good doesn't it ?.
