I'm going to have a look at a 2003 Tamora for the missus tomorrow. Its done 19,000 miles, had a full TVR Power engine rebuild in march this year, new alternator, new shocks all round and a recon ECU. Is there anything in particular I should be looking for?

If Power have been round it,it should be ok.It's like your T2 only better!check for fluid leaks under car, make sure she runs smooth in 5th gear at 2000/2500rpm,if you have to drop a cog then tappets will need re shimming.Otherwise same as T2. Oh check the boots ..if rubber looks grainy on outsides it been tracked. If owner has looked after perspex rear window this is a good sign rest will probably have been looked after too. Take a W out,WELL YOU KNOW THAT?

Check if it's damp in the corners of the boot, wheels, front splitter. Engine wise you know what it should sound and feel like.

Be prepared for the extra power and the improved handling

If owt looks odd give me a bell. Not busy tomorrow until about 5.
