Some bastards slashed my rear window last night whilst it was parked on my friends street in London. My partner and I have just spent the last hour trying to sort it out with duct tape and super glue, looks great!!!!!

They also took the face off to the stereo from the glove compartment. Other than that there was nothing else in the car or no incentive for them to do such a thing.

Can anyone give me an idea of how much it costs to repair the hood window, and who can do it, preferably near London but I don't mind travelling. Also how much is the face off for the stereo and where can i get one, or do i need a whole new stereo.

I'd much appreciate your help,

Thanks,

Matt.

That's awful. At least there was nothing more done and no damage to paintwork or theb ody which may have been more costly As for the headunit i'm not sure. Is it the one that came standard in the car? Maybe the delaer can help. Let's hope so!

Plenty of people on here will be able to reccomend somewhere to get the window replaced, not sure about the stereo.

It happened in blackheath village. I found her like that on Saturday morning as well when it was pissing down, i was pulling my hair out. Still managed to get away for the weekend though with the duct tape and super glue temporary repair job, but i really need to get a window replacement this week. I hear you with regards to them not doing anymore, i guess i was lucky in some ways, i was looking at the seats and thinking to myself what they could have done to them with a knife!! The stereo was standard, but they only took the face off for some reason.

I still need some advice on who can replace a Tamora hood window and what sort of cost it would be, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

tamore

Sorry to hear this. This is the stress i suffer evertime I park it so I tend to leave the glove box empty with it open when parked (just to save them the hassle). I wonder how they reached in that far!

Very long arms!!! Or one slid in and the other held their feet and pulled them all the way out. They only took the face off, so i don't know what they'll be doing with that. Got someone to repair the hood tomorrow.
