Anyone have problems getting under 100dba in Sagaris?
Discussion
mine was way over when tested at oulton park but they let me out anyway - top sorts that they were. In fact they asked me what does it rev to, I lied and said 6k, they asked for 4k, I gave them 3k but it was still over 100dba. The car had a standard exhaust system but luckily there's still a fair amount of flexibility on most tracks. What a sad day when road legal cars are deemed too noisy for tracks. Nanny state gone mad again!

It's actually more to do with poor planning and greater awareness from local residents than any nanny state per se. Still you should be thankful, aircraft taking off from the London airports get fined £500 for breaching 94dBA, or £1,000 for breaching 97dBA!
My T350 seems to be getting louder, but I think that's more to do with my right foot than anything else!

Any one any useful info ?????????
The airfields around here and castle combe are very strict on noise due to the type of people who live round here and complain about everything !!! resulting in ridiculous planning regulations, mainly liberal ex-hippies who hate cars and think they live in some rural paradise without any noise or nasty smells - not the countryside I know...........
Anyway has anyone any ideas - cheers

Before I went to Zolder this year I got Simon at the CCC to make me a set of quiet cans. Got passed the noise police there, and I think they want you under 96db or something like that. I couldnt say what the noise level is with them fitted, but its a lot less than my standard cans. Its less than a 30 minute job to swap the cans over. Works for me on track days. Been OK at Zolder, Oulton and Croft this year.
