Tamora Tyre Recommendations Please

Picking up a lovely 2003 Tamora at the weekend but it needs 4 tyres. What are the recommended tyre sizes and make for 16" rims?

Budget can't run to 18s unfortunately or I would. Anyway its the wifes car and she is tighter than me.

Well in that case, the press cars ran Avon zz3`s or Bridgestones, i sold my silver 18s Spiders cheap at £350, there are bargains out there.

This is a rubbish secret, though.

16" size is Fr 225/50 Rr 225/50 according to the handbook. I've been happy with Toyos, but you know you really want 18" SP12s.

You definitely need to go to 18"s or 19"s - they can be bought reasonably on Ph Classifieds or ebay.

Don't worry about your wife being tight - it'll loosen up with use.

Cheers Andy. Was a crap secret wasn't it. Tyres are now sorted. Car may be off the scene for a couple of weeks to get spruced up. Should be OK for the next SYTVRCC meet though.
