Had a break in on the Sagaris.

autoglass won't do the job - say that TVRs are a nightmare.

Have the glass - any ideas who can fit? Mobile preferred.

Cheshire/Manchester.

Hope someone can help - thanks.

If its not the windscreen then it shouldn't be too hard to do. Try another outlet. Or take it to a dealer.

Really sorry and a bit shocked. Windows or back hatch? Was anything taken?

Hi,
I didn't think it would be that hard.

Dealer is 60 miles away, then I'll have to wait around for X hours....or arrange taxis...or recovery etc.

Picked up the glass today, thinking it would be an easy job to get someone to do it - not so.

Will probably end up going back to the dealer with a book.

In the past would have relished the thought of an idle afternoon in a TVR dealer but this car's been a pain in the arse and I've fallen out of love with it at the moment.

RPA - I was a bit shocked too parked up in a W1 ncp - right next to the manned security office - driver's window, just my briefcase nicked (had laptop in it - but more importantly most of my current notes/notebooks/accounts etc)
'kin nightmare.

thanks,
sw

Many dealers are offering low-priced flatbed transport recently (in Midlands/NWest area anyway) at around 40p/mile, so if time's important this could widen your search to other dealers? scratchchin Automedon do, but are not main dealers.

Could you take to the dealer near Kings Cross?

I take my hat off to a dealer who'll charge £40 for a 100 mile round trip to fit a side window.

As with most things TVR it's more complicated than I thought... will call a dealer and arrange.

Heard lots of good reports about automedon, will probably give them ago for the 6K.

as an aside is the factory service centre to bite the dust with production?

Give Colin @ Automedon a ring as he did my windscreen. He spent a few years at the factory doing the glass when he started. They will also pick up your car A 40p/mile.

Is warranty not an issue?

Yep, but to be honest not sure I've got any faith in the official channels...

EU directives and all that for the servicing and parts.
