T350T: Setting alarm question

Occasionally, when i set the alarm, i get 4 beeps from the car. The indicators flash and the car locks, but im not sure why it beeps - I presume its trying to tell me something is amiss?

Can anyone shed any light on what the 4 beeps are supposed to tell me?

Dunno...but in my Chimaera it means I've left the boot open?

How many times do the indicators flash?

Do the beeps relate to the "activated memory" LED display code? 4 flashes/beeps- Bonnet/Boot Trigger?

The lights flashed twice.

I went out and opened the boot and closed it again, re-armed the alarm and all was well.

I had looked in the manual and there are system diagnostics that show the cause of an alarm, but these are indicated on the door mirror adjustment panel LED. Funnily enough, four flashes is for the bonnet/boot trigger. So it would appear that on setting the alarm, any beeps are signalling an issue.

Depends on how soon you lock your car after closing the door, if it’s before the interior light timer has expired the alarm will bleep four times as it still thinks the door is open.If you lock it after the interior light has gone off it does not bleep.
