Hi

I have a misfire on my T350 which is gradually getting worse - symptoms are this: car starts and runs fine when cold, after about a mile or two a misfire starts which feels like 2 or even 3 cylinders cutting out - the problem is worst when cruising at steady, very light, throttle openings eg 50mph in fourth. Fuel consumption has also gone up a lot - 140 miles out of the last tank without any fast driving at all!!

The misfire seems to diminish when the engine has thorougly warmed up, unfortunately this doesn't really happen on my usual run to the station so it's misfiring most of the time I am driving it.

Any ideas? My guess would be leads or coils, but was wondering if anybody has had very similar symptoms to mine and hence give me any ideas re what to look at.

TIA

Cheers

Jerry

Concidering it peters out when up to temp it could be the lambda sensor, Get it checked out or it could obliterate the cat. If it were leads i cant see why it would stop when warm. But hey what do i know, Pleased your enjoying your TVR.
