Surely the 2005/6 plate Sags advertised with <4k miles on at around £38k represents superb value for money. Whats going on? Is it a circumstance of the so called TVR demise or simply the current sports car market. Or are they just bad cars (LOL). I suspect they are superb cars at massive value for money? Is it time to snap one up?

Not as mad as those selling them for under £35K - great value if you're in that market.

How much will they fall to next year I wonder - any guesses? Between £25K and £30K possibly?

Totally bonkers!!! smash

I reckon if Tvr do not riase from the ashes and no more Tuscans and Sagaris' are made they will raise in value. If you can afford to hang onto a car for 10-20 years that is. But to be honest i won't be getting rid of mine. I got a great deal on the Sagaris. Even if i had not i would have paid much more then i did for it. I do realise they are expensive cars but if you think of anything in the region of a Sagaris nothing comes close in my opinon. Performance, looks, presence, noise, interior, heritage. Just that feeling when you sit inside the most amazing interior of a car ever and start that beast of an engine up. Nothing could touch it for the money nuts

Snap up a bargain the looks and performance are second to none. When ever I go out for a drive it gets lots of attention. If I park it up people stop and take pictures, its great and you own that drop dead car. The price is pretty stable at the moment, but as the guys have said, who knows they could go up a little ,they only made about 100 of these beauties.cloud9

F**k me, only 100. Rite from the posts above i think you've convinced me. I'll put the 360 on hold and go for the trevor. I remember seeing one in a carpark, jaw dropping moment. I love my Tam so a Sag should be an even better driving experience.

What do you guys think of these two, both under £38k -

Also Id love to here about your Sag experiences good and bad.

tuscan and sagaris are well worth investiging in at the mo,i think that smelly has kept the tvr name for himself and taken some of the old managing directors with him too,he will put it to sleep for a bit then start making them again, south africa, italy who knows?!he will then knock em out for no less than 60 K,for a bog standard without extras.

It remains a buyer's market. This is a poor time of year to have a second hand TVR on the market and prices will continue to slide with the recent poor publicity and uncertainty over honouring of warranties. Any rarity value will take months if not years to have an effect, there may have been only a small number built but there are even fewer buyers. In the end it is supply and demand. Very few buyers of this type of the car at the moment, uncertainty kills the market.

And I speak as a Sagaris owner not a gloating onlooker.

Perhaps i cant win though as id need to px the 02tam. Having been offererd 11k for it against a F335 spider last month. It had put me off to be honest but I suppose I cant have it both ways. Still, 11k is an insult.

Any dealers out there who can give me £17k for it against a Sag? Lets talk.

Think you'll be lucky to get 15k from a dealer for an 02 Tam unfortunately.

I'm afraid i wouldn't know much about trading in a Tvr but i know that dealers are definitly wanting rid of stock thats been there for a while so i'm sure youll have room to negotiate on prices especially if your not too fussy about color!

Other then that i think the sagaris is just so amazing. Have you test driven one? Don't because then you can't walk away from buying it!

I'm afraid the only way is down as people worship at the alter of new. Take my car the Cerbera. I have to say in my eyes, better looking and faster than the saggy, and you can have your pick at less than half that price.

So if previous posters were right the Cerb would be a classic now and increasing its price. Sadly the opposite is true.

Try 125 - and that is the final figure from Blackpool...you need to speak with someone other than the cleaner!!

Not as rare as the Tuscan 2 Convertible (105 total) but then I suppose that is just a slightly altered Tuscan - however I suppose you could say the Sagaris is just a slightly modified T350 too!

Classics really dont come into their own for 10-20 years really though, i believe Tvr's will be very sought after!

Daftlad ~ Is that a definite confirmed figure? I would love to know!

Okay slightly slightly then - but if you take off the slightly slightly different body (not even in lighter Vinylester as originally promised), change a few suspension mounts what else is there?
The lightweight body didn't make it into production, the slashes got filled in, the adjustable bonnet vents got deleted, the special interior/seats/stalks got dropped, etc., etc.
In reality the slightly wider track is about the only difference of any consequence IMO.

I understand what you mean for sure. That being said, it's still rather special Tell me do you have any pictures of the original interior that was dropped? That would be interesting!
