Have had lights upgraded, much brighter, but not sure they have been wired in correctly. When changing from dip to main beam there is no difference in the brightness of the lights, but the fogs on the front come on, without turning the rotary switch. Is this normal ? Thanks a lot.

Hi Ian, the lower front lights on your car are driving lights and part of the main beam set up. Just like a Griff they should come on with main beam. The best bet is simply to upgrade the dip beam bulb in the main headlamp unit, on main beam they shouldn't be too bad. HID units are gas discharge and require a transformer to boost the current up to 240 volts so don't work on them when they're on!! Hope this helps.

Ian, as Hexham says, you don't have front fog-lights. It's only the early cars that have front fogs, the larger lights on the later cars are driving lights.

I can confirm that, the revised models have no front fogs, they are the main beam lamps.
