can't remember 100% but im sure its in this months sprint magazine. There is a metallic baby blue coloured T350 which has sag slats in the front arches and a different rear defuser holding side exit bull nose cans. It really does look a good compromise between the two cars and i'd love to find out how/where it was done as i'd like some ideas for 'improving' my car. If anyone knows please tell.

cheers

Graham,

Check out this thread as it might have been Plasticman's T350...

I saw it in the flesh at London Thunder and thought it looked awful - especially that back end. Why change such a good looking car...??

just had a look, agree im not too keen on the rear end or the bonnet, but do like the slats into the front arches and fuel cap.

I agree. The T350 looks perfect as it is, and the Sag looks perfect as it is as well!
A combination of the two? Hmmm, not so sure!!

If you think your T350 looks "perfect" with the big gap at the front of the bonnet (showing off the plastic ford washer bottle) and the squared of shelf running along the bottom of the rear diffuser . Combine that with the restricted access when the bonnet is open and the fit when it is closed . If you think that is perfect , fine.
If you are also happy with the way the sagaris turns into a haven for pondlife on the tops of the wings , the petrol cap just sits on top of body and the bonnet can be removed by any passer by (or by driving it fast enough), thats fine too.
I was not happy with that ,I wanted a proper fitting/hinging bonnet , I wanted working vents in the wings and I wanted the filler cap flushed in ( amongst other things)so a redesigned and made them. If anyone has not seen my awful car I have attached a picture so get your sickbags now , David

Sorry! Not saying it looks awful, just not totally to my taste that's all. I think it's great that you've done it though and if you like it, brilliant.

Sorry it really does look like a kit car..... how to lose £10k in value... if not more. The vents over the arches are pointless, the T350 Bonnet was never a problem and I don't recall anyone and I mean anyone making the effort to lie on the floor and criticise the flat undertray or rear under styling of my T350 when I owned it. Perhaps that is because I drove it rather than admired it from a distance.

I think it looks OK actually. Not expecially keen on either the Sagaris or the T350 - which is why I bought a Tamora. Just personal preference, as I certainly wouldn't turn my nose up at either if offered one!

This just looks like a slightly different TVR, and it seems pretty well done.

If that's your bag plasticman, bloody respect to you for doing it mate.

Just as a matter of interest though, what is the benefit of having the slats in the wings?

I think it looks great, to be honest. Each to their own and all that - certainly don't see the need for suggesting it has depreciated the value of the car!

Nice car David! thumbup

Not my cup of tea personally, but good on you for having a go and it's interesting to see the result.

Anyone that does not know the current TVR models well would think it was simply yet another TVR.

As for kit car, it's no more kit than the saggy ass. And the sagaris, well IMHO looks like a T350 that crashed into halfords or did clarkson say that one

i think it looks great! i've often seen it on plasticmans driveway, and in the flesh, from what i've seen it looks fantastic IMO. i think it looks great with the Sag mods but it is still very much a T350, certainly not OTT appearance wise at all. i would love to have a closer look at it sometime.

I like it, it combines the OTT styling of a Sag without the prerequiste visit to Halfords

The slats were originally put in the sagaris to relieve the high pressure buildup in the wheelarch so the benefits are less drag and more downforce (yes pointless). In the sagaris they are now , of course , blocked off but in mine they are channelled through to a louvred panel in the wheelarch . The other benefit is it removes some of the blandness (my opinion) of the T350

Excellent work again. The man does some amazing things. I know there are other things in the pipeline that I look forward to seeing. I dont always 100% like the results but the quality amd detail is second to none.
I would love to get some of the brakes that I think plasticman has created for Cerbs. He keeps very quiet about all the things he does.

when i said it looks awful i was mainly referring to the back end which you chose not to show. each to their own but in my opinion it makes it look too max power for me...
