Coming up to 12 k service, is it worth waxoyling the chassis or just the outriggers (later suggested by local garage). or neither. I suspect most people would recommend it? Car not garaged and used daily - is it a no brainer?

TIA

No brainer - get the whole lot done. How much have they quoted you?

I asked the question of my local dealer the other day - the answer: beware sealing in moisture and the chassis subsequently corroding from within. I was told that it should only really be done when the car is new.
However, I would assume that (a) assuming all the muck, any rust and salt is off the chassis; (b) the chassis is dry when the Waxoyl is applied, there should not be a problem. May be worth asking the same question and I for one would welcome a second (expert) opinion on this one!
