Hi Guys,

Im trying to get some average figues in my head for running a T350, not including petrol, I read about the horror stories, but if I paid £22k for one with say 12000 miles on the clock, and in my 1st year the engine didn't go pop, what would I being looking at in servicing at a TVR dealers? it will only be a weekend car!

Any help appreciated.

Running costs are very little m8. Ive owned a tam for a year and cant say its much more than a normal motor. I drive it everyday and heres my breakdown for 1 year, if you'll pardon the pun lol -

WARRANTY - £0, HAVENT GOT ONE AND DONT WANT ONE.
SERVICING - £350 FOR A 12K AT TORQUE RVT.
INSURANCE - £900 A YEAR FULLY COMP.
REPAIRS - £100 1 X OIL SENDER, CANT THINK HOW MUCH IT WAS SO SAY £100.
BIT OF OIL AND AUTOGLYM - £50.
ADDITIONAL VALETING - £100.
DEPRECIATION - GRRRRRRR BOUT £4K I THINK.

Regards
Joe

Personally I would allow a little more than £350 for servicing. I've had a Tamora for just over a year, from new. 1st year service was nearly 600 at a dealer, and that was just the basic cost of the service.

I know you mention dealer prices for servicing, but take a look at Automedon for an idea of specialist pricing. I know they arent in your area, but they collect cars from all over, at a reasonable rate too.
