Didnt think it would hurt that much
For anybody thinking of selling one...dont. Just dont.
For anybody considering buying one...do it. Just do it. Life really is too short never to have owned the definitive Blackpudlian outlook on motoring.
After you all see and hear Richard's slatted and de-catted car I expect lots of orders. Think of it as doing a fellow Sagaris Slut a public service in order that he owns one again asap.
I didnt even miss the Griffith this much!
The Sagaris cost me an arm and a leg to buy, insure, run and in depreciation and although I know my parents, my fiancee and any sensible person I know will all disagree with me, I consider it one of the best things I ever did. Its given me a business, friends and some astonishing memories and in some ways changed my view of the world, but mostly though what it gave was its personality, character, charm and sheer sense of style dripping out of its every joint.
Oh and a de-catted Sagaris at 6k rpm...all I can say is it beats the 83mph Griffith sound. Nuff said.

What a great post, David. That's why I will hang on to my Tamora until the bitter end (whatever that may be). I love my Tamora even more since she had Power super sports exhausts fitted last year!
She's also made me a whole new circle of friends, amongst them many of the (ex) factory workers. I hope you find another P&J soon.

What have you got now then David??? Aston?
I did a part-ex deal with Nervous. I took his mint '92 Verde York 'Grale Evo in exchange. I will run that for a few weeks till she is sold. The money from the Sagaris is really all needed for the business. The development costs for the tooling and prototyping of the slat work, the wings, exhaust work, the cf work all need paying for now and the blower work is also starting to eat up some cash. As the guys I work with are all ex-workforce, things are biting for them.
Oh yes, and Ive got a cpl of houses to build and a wedding to pay for this yr!
In theory my personal car budget is massively cutailed for a while now (I even shifted the 997tt option onto a GT2 to right shift any outlay last yr) whilst I have to prioritise other aspects of life - Sarah is *not* a car girl. Practicalities also mean that a 4x4 estate of some sort will be needed and a real 4x4 of some sort will be essential for Sarah. In reality though, Im not sure how long Ill be able to hold off buying a proper car again. Mr Simpson has already pointed out a BV to me that looks like it should have my name written all over it!

Richard I hope your bringing at LEAST two of your "collection" down to the Celtic Gathering. Great article in Sprint by the way. The photos of the Typhon were brilliant.

Sagaris (converted) and Typhon will be there. Sagaris will be a little louder!!
I do sympathise with DJC - just the service times are purgatory - let alone parting altogether!!
Hi all,
just thought Id say hello as i bought DJC's car from him. I cant thank him enough for his patience over the last few weeks (dealers have been difficult to say the least) and for keeping his car in such immaculate condition. Also, hes put the de-cat pipes that he makes on the car and they sound awesome, it sounds exactly as it should now. raspy and clean, like a ww2 fighter. if you don't already have them you really should
Its a second TVR for me and although I really like it already it probably wont be staying for too long: the money Ive used to pay for it is money i freed up from the sale of my last car to put into the business, but since i have sufficient bookings to keep me in crisps for a few months, I decided that i may as well have the money sitting in something i love rather than not earning interest in the bank. yes, I'm just that stoopid for cars.
however, the deal with the missus is as soon as the moneys needed, the car goes up for sale, so if any of you are thinking of buying a sagaris in the coming months please keep me in mind

Isnt it funny how these deals with the missus always seem to involve us getting rid of our cars? Oh how familiar is that!
