...mate. Bet you never get out of it. Enjoy!"

Comment from a workman as I was waiting near his truck at some traffic lights. Wonder if a prorker or anything else would have prompted the same comment?

So I gave it some beanz...with an ever bigger smile on my face.

Hope I never grow up.

Good innit? Especially when you're in a world of your own, and not expecting it.

Made me go out and wash and polish the P&J when I got home.

The same thing happened to me last weekend.
A lorry driver came across to me as I started my Tamora up in a carpark.

No hesitation - he just walked right around the entire car and tapped on the window..... "Smashing car,I haven't seen a TVR like that before. Is it 4.0L or 3.6L?" then proceeded to show me pics of his SuzukiGSZXRSXZ650 (or something like that) and chat about on-limit grip in a bike compared with a TVR.

If this was any other make of car he would probably have just thought "to55er" and gone about his business.

That, as well as passing at least 6 Boxsters on the way into Edinburgh (ok, some were travelling in the opposite direction!), and a baseball hatted ned in a petrol station an hour earlier commenting on the "f***ing magic car, mate" made me realise that it was folly to even contemplate a Boxster.....

Even traffic cops take a second look.
(But maybe that's just the number plate???)

It's funny; maybe I've got used to the car now and don't notice as much, or maybe it's because mine looks very plain-clothes. TBH the Reflex Charcoal doesn't work as well on the Tamora as on larger cars like the Tuscan or Sagaris, which is fine by me, but it means it just looks black, or maybe Racging Green, or just plain dirty in this weather!

But I guess that it goes to show that even if I don't notice, people still take interest in the car.

Was in a petrol station in Bermondsey last week and a surly (they HAVE to be, don't they?) home-boy walked across the forecourt grimaced at the car, sucked his teeth and , just when I thought I was about to get mugged, mumbled "Sexy car, man." Made me feel good.

Good club we're in.

I know i have put this on here before, but i thought it was funny.
I was first in the que at a zebra crossing, half a dozen yoofs started crossing, and stopped mid way to look at and who was in the car.
I heard one of them exclaim "Its a f**king old geezer, bl**dy hell"
I was a tad hurt, but then realised that i had one and they didn't.

All publicity is good publicity, eh?
