15 month left to go suggests you bought the car else where. You're in queer street so to speak, but then you always were before the factory had problems.

Simon,
Picture is at Harewood, not been to Curborough yet, but its supposed to be fun

What I was intimating was that even when all is well in the world of warranty, TVR dealers are quite reluctant to do warranty work on cars they have not sold. Suspect it was because of the very poor waranty labour rate they got from TVR - with some doubt over geting anything back from anyone, they will be even more reluctant

Had my Saggy serviced at Racing Green (12K) couple of weeks ago and they completed a few minor warranty jobs (air con etc)

It seems very patchy indeed with lots of people with expereinces of not being able to get warranty work done. RG are def doing warranty work, but not sure how much they are doing out of the goodness of their hearts and how much they are getting paid for it. I'm not complaining.

I recently phoned up the TVR phone number on the webby and asked about factory warranty work. I spoke to Jason who answered David's phone. He said yep, warranty work is done by dealers and TVR Power. If you have some specific warranty work to be done, you could try phoning. Let us know how you get on.

Thank you gentlemen,I will take your advice and ring round to see if anyone will fix my second cooling fan on warranty. However,a more local specialist might be more time effective and therefore perhaps cost effective even if they charge !.Thought i might try TORQUE RVT. Does anyone know if its possible to get both fans on at 92? rather than 92 and 96?.

With all the negativity surrounding TVR at the moment, I have to make a post. I have had a few troubles with my Tam but ALL of them have been fixed by London TVR through the warranty. The chief technicial, Andy, is superb. I know there is a worry about warrantys at the mo but I have to say London TVR are excellent.

One other thing, every time I get into my Tam and start it up I still smile. A lot. Then it warms up and the pops and bangs start. Smile gets bigger. Then I think how I could never sell it. All these problems are part and parcel of being a TVR owner. All worth it in the end I reckon...

I'm in a similar position, in that, my T350C has 17 months factory warranty left. Fortunately, I have not needed to use the warranty, but I'm a little worried what may happen if something really expensive goes pop. Just a thought, if Ciceley have stopped warranty work, does that mean that the new T350's and the new Sagaris they have for sale in the classifieds section are being sold without warranty? Has anyone asked them about this?
