Or almost famous ones... Dunno if this is something I missed but I'm sure that there was a famous owners thread a while back and although I can't find the thread Ijust found out that Tony Robinson's son drives a Tamora.

Apparently a really nice bloke, so not at all surprised at his choice of TVR .

Apologies if this is already known, but thought that possible celebrity publicity is always a good thing and the Son of Basldrick and the Time Team Main-Man is a pretty impressive claim to fame.....

That would be me then and i can confirm I own a Tamora. Where did you hear these malicious rumours that I'm a "really nice bloke"????
My Dad was actually the one who gave me the TVR bug in the first place. When I was about 17 he bought a Chimera, I got to test drive it but there was no chance he was going to insure me on it. So basically as soon as I was in a position to afford one I went out and got one. Hence keeping the Peugeot 206 for 6 years!!!

So without in any way wishing to insult you Luke, the true celebrity TVR owner was your dad with his Chimaera

Hope you are enjoying your Tamora, top choice thumbup

Don't worry Alex, in no way do i consider myself a celebrity. Although when I'm driving people often turn there heads, but i have a feeling that might be something to do with the car

Hi Luke, nice to here from you. Yeah, but anyone can have a Chimeria. ONly a lucky few people with very good taste who are prepared to go against the mold can own a Tamora.

As for the malicious rumours, an Australian guy built like a brick sh1thouse that trains with you is a delegate on a course I'm running this week.

Of course, he too is a very nice bloke - which is fortunate as hes pretty huge.....!

Either that or squish me!

OK, I'll all Maddog off then

Went out for the Dorset PH run yesterday (on the spotted forum) and it was the first time I'd been out with another Tamora. Quite weird when you never see them on the road to be followed by one. Damn nice to be exclusive though.

I crossed paths with a black tamora in London last weekend which was quite cool. And on Saturday I parked up just outside Battersea Park and there was a Tuscan and a Griffths all parked on the same road. None of them looked as good as the Tamora

Couldn't agree more.

I usually bring mine into London when I work here, but this week I'm picking up my Son, mother and aunt. 4 into Tamora doesn't go. Still, theres always the weekend and next week...

London's bus service is getting better Lee. Plus if you get them an oyster card it's really cheap. Into your Tam, roof off and enjoy! Or you could just blame the congestion charge getting wider and get them onto the bus that way. Either way you get to drive your pride and joy at the weekend!

Ah, not quite. I've driven up from Dorset for the week and will be taking them ALL back for the weekend. Thought about National Express for them - but a 78 year old, a 79 year old and a 16 year old is either a recipe for disaster or the makings of a TV sitconm

BTW - T4ORA your right in the fact the Tamis the best car TVR ever made (IMHO) and whilst I'm currently in one of those everybody Chims I'll hopefully be in a Tam towards the end of this year/beginning of next - same as Maddogs if I can find one as his yellow Tam is stunning!

Damn nice thing to look forward to.

Not in any way being sycophantic but I do really like the Chim and think it's maybe the nicest looking of the TVRs. Actually I regret not having owned one in the past.

.........But I wouldn't change the Tamora!
