Noise levels from standard Tamora Exhaust..

....anyone know? Looking at the Track day forum and I'm interested in Thruxton, but what's the chance a standard Tam will be below 90db?

Normally static is 100-104db @1m. Standard pipes should pass that easily.

T350 3.6 standard exhaust. 97.5dB @0.5M 45 degrees 4000RPM. Castle Combe 2004. I imagine a Tamora will be similar.

Yeah, I agree - more or less same exhaust I think. Oh well, looks like the thought of a nice local track won't materialise into reality. Dunno what they expect to be running on there then.

the thruxton noise limits only allow electric cars! I can't imagine even a vaguely track suitable car doing a 90db static test.

The Tamora sports zorsts are louder than that at tickover, never mind 2/3 max revs.....

Come to think about it the standard sorst will probably be 90 at tickover....
