Having a bad time with my Tamora at the moment - I can't even get in it?! When I press the key fob the engine immobiliser light goes out (so key fob battery working) & I can hear the door latches motoring approx twice a second. In addition, the internal door release buttons flash but no flashes from the indicators apart from the occasional very dim offering! This continues indefinitely until I press the key fob again, which reverts things to normal red interior LEDs (immobiliser & door lock)flashing. Now & again the alarm will sound but goes off after about 10 seconds. At no point will the doors or boot open. Please help!!

looks like battery lost charge. You need to charge it up using the plug underneath the car on the pasenger foot well. Charge leads have a grey plug to suit , some on ebay i think

Mmmm, typically my charge leads are IN the car. Is there no way of getting into it if the battery has run out of charge?

You could jack up and get to battery on passenger side, take off wheel and open panel two bolt head screws and and cable tie on the sag, then direct to battery.

Sadly not, I'm new to owning a TVR but have found Dom or Andy at TVR Power 02476 366177 helpful. Sure you'll know of them already. Regards

I've had to do this with a flat battery in the garage parked right up against the wall on the passenger side. I think 'the method' depended on the year of car.

Have fun.

Hi Stovey (NBd the name) I'm in exactly the same boat with car up against wall on passenger side. Were leads long enough to reach to another car battery or did you just connect them to a battery removed from another car? Not attempted "entry" yet but my Tam's an 02 model.

Bemused (or just thick) by Flyboy's MHY?!
