T350 battery charging. Help please!!!!
Discussion
Hi all
04 T350. Is their anyway i can charge the battery without having to get to the battery direct. I have an Anderson connector to jump start, but someone told me their is a socket already wired ready for a charger to be plugged into it for easy charging use in the footwell somewhere.
Is this true or a load of cobblers or have i gotta start stripping the car to bits to access the battery?
Thanks in advance
Justyn

Hi
Great cars T350's-I have one myself.
OK you need to give us a bit more info.Is the problem starting, loss of power, will not turnover ?
I don't know if you have a fuse problem or a flat battery at this moment in time
If its a battery charging problem see below. If its a fuse see the FAQS at the top of the thread
You can get a battery charger lead from a dealerand its a good investment.Once you have one you plug it in as shown in manual under the car just aft of the passenger side.Used mine a couple of times due to car having an appetite for 100 amp fuses.
It will make life a bit easier.
The more you tell us the more we can help

Just simply want to recharge the battery as i went to it the other day and the battery was just about flat. Jump started it today using the anderson connection devise behind n/s/f wheel no probelm but while its in the garage i would like to plonk a battery charger to get some proper chage into the battery ready for my next drive one weekend.
Cheers again and yes i love mine too, what a beast!!!!

Hi Justyn.
If the battery is charged then an accumate is what you want. £45 from Leven. You plug it in via the cigarette lighter and it keeps the battery topped up. Works well, but no good for charging a flat battery.
Also if something is causing the battery to drain in may not overcome it, but then you will know if it needs looking at.
You can get an adaptor that plug the accumate into the Andersen connector for £15

Charged my Saggy battery from flat with one via the cig lighter. Took the best part of the week though.
