T350 T targa top noise ?????

I am thinking of selling my griff and buying a T350 T and i am told that at 80 to 85 MPH the targa infills are prone to give noise in cabin....does any current owners have comments.
and is the red rose variant worth the premium on price?

any comments would be helpful

I had a T350t with the later carbon panels and revised clips and it didn't make any noise or leak. You have to take care to fit the panels correctly and lube the seals.

I get quite a bit of wind noise from the doors, almost nothing from the targa panels

If fitted right they should be quiet up to 100mph ish. Then a bit of a whistle depending on wind direction etc. There are 2 versions - the earlier ones with clips to the sides and the later ones with the clips front and back. Later is better, but I bet every car is different (being a TVR!).

Oh, the panels don't leak at all BTW.

Hi,

I seem to have the older panels on mine where the fit isn't as good as they got.

I was warned about wind noise, but I think they were comparing it to a Phantom rather than another soft top.

It is infinitely quieter than the Griff ever was (mostly due to the side windows never fitting 100%).

The noise isn't really an issue.
